WHAT DOES SHOULDER DISLOCATION MEAN?
A shoulder dislocation happens when too much force or pressure is applied to the ligaments connecting the arm to the shoulder, and the bones are separated. Mostly, dislocated shoulder is a result of falling onto outstretched arm.
In the shoulder dislocation the humeral head rolls out the front or back of the glenoid. It’s connected with torn ligaments and joint capsule. After injury, your kid may feel a severe pain and the joint is swollen and instable. Also, the range of motion is limited.
Most of shoulder dislocations require emergency immobilization in the special sling such as the shoulder immobilizer AM-SOB-02.

Our kids sling AM-SOB-02 is made of innovative and comfortable material ACTIVdistance.
ActivDistance™ is 3-layered lamination, made of comfort foam and 2 non-elastic polyamide layers. ActivDistance™ is not elastic what improves stabilization. The foam inside makes our fabric very soft and comfortable. ActivDistance™ is self-gripping in both sides, so you can fit our devices perfectly.
Kids shoulder immobilizer AM-SOB-02 has open design and application is very fast and easy. Arm strap holds the arm near the trunk. This solution provides shoulder immobilization and reduces arm movement and rotation.
The shoulder straps makes X-design on the kid’s back. In this way, we provide excellent shoulder immobilization without putting pressure on the neck area.
